Black Women Speak: Remembering Ourselves: Our Bodies, Our Stories, Our Legacy

March 5 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

We’re excited to invite you to Black Women Speak, a monthly community circle created for Black women to pause, reflect, and restore together.

Each gathering offers space to reconnect with yourself and others through honest conversation, shared reflection, and collective care. This circle centers restoration as a practice of reclaiming our time, energy, and wholeness in a world that often asks us to give endlessly.

This Month’s Focus: Remembering Ourselves: Our Bodies, Our Stories, Our Legacy
In honor of Women’s History Month, Black Women Speak invites you to to honor Black women’s history as lived experience. History that’s held in our bodies, relationships, and everyday acts of care. Through guided reflection and shared conversation, we’ll explore what we carry forward, what we release, and how Black women continue to define legacy on our own terms.

📅 Date: Thursday, March 5th 2026
🕡 Time: 6:30pm – 8:00pm EST
💻 Location: Over Zoom

Facilitated by Kelsey Akpan, LMSW, this gathering welcomes Black women seeking rest, connection, and meaningful reflection.

We look forward to being in community with you and continuing to cultivate space for care, restoration, and collective healing.
