We’re excited to invite you to Breaking Binaries, a monthly queer-focused community circle created for anyone who feels the impact of binaries on their identity, relationships, and expression.

Each gathering offers space to discuss the binaries imposed on us and the ones we impose on ourselves through imagination, honest conversation, and collective exploration. This circle uses creativity and community to help us think beyond the either/or and into something more expansive.

This Month’s Focus: Community in the Digital Age

How has building community shifted since 2020? The way we connect, find our people, and show up for one another has changed in ways we’re still making sense of. Together, we’ll use our imagination to explore what community looks like now and what we want it to look like going forward. Let’s work through it together.

📅 Date: Wednesday, May 21st, 2026
🕡 Time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm EST
💻 Location: Over Zoom
💸 Cost: Free

Facilitated by Kelsey Akpan, LMSW and Maya Iliff, LMSW, this gathering welcomes all who are ready to reflect, reimagine, and reconnect. Come as you are! All are welcome.

👉 Register: Use the QR code or email [email protected] to RSVP and receive the Zoom link.

We look forward to being in community with you and continuing to explore what’s possible when we break beyond the binary together.
