Grace Chen
Grace Chen is a trilingual psychotherapist fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Shanghainese dialects, with a diverse background in mental health counseling and accounting. Originally from Shanghai, China, Grace moved to the U.S. 15 years ago. Her experiences across cultures have deepened her understanding of the complexities of human experiences. She holds two master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. Grace has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and ages, developing a culturally sensitive and evidence-based approach to therapy.
Grace’s therapeutic methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Existential Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. She specializes in addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, self-esteem, stress management, anger management, life transitions, career counseling, workplace challenges, immigration, acculturation, and couples and family relationships.
